Yoga Was Made for Times Like These
I am honored to be joining the guest faculty for the Embody Yoga's Roots 300hr for the 6th year in a row. Yoga means more to me now. We must let our spiritual practices prepare us for the revolution.

Yoga is not about retreating from reality. It is about deepening our capacity to engage with it. To lead, serve, hold space for healing, and to take action rooted in wisdom. In times of upheaval, yoga offers both steadiness and strength and a way to tend to ourselves without turning away from the suffering around us.
A full yoga practice does not separate personal well-being from collective responsibility. It teaches us to move with integrity, to listen deeply, and to act from a place of alignment. It strengthens our ability to show up. Not just for ourselves, but for our communities, for justice, and for the future we want to create.
To practice yoga is to prepare. To lead. To care. To stand for something greater than ourselves. This is the time to deepen, to commit, and to embody what yoga truly calls us to be.
If you’ve ever wondered whether this is the right time to go deeper into yoga, this is your sign.
I have a friend who always says, “This is Yoga School, not School School!” That friend is Susanna Barkataki, and I’m honored to be part of her Embody Yoga’s Roots YTT 300. Now open for enrollment - Embody Yoga’s Roots YTT
I am proud to join the guest teacher faculty for this 300 hour YTT for the 6th year. I will be teaching my popular session, Yoga Business, Leadership and True Embodiment of Yoga. During this interactive workshop, I will share my experience creating Legacy Trips (originally called Satya Yoga Trips) back in 2018, and we will discuss themes of leadership, service, power, ethical business strategies, and disrupting the wellness industry.
This training isn’t about performance, perfection, or proving yourself.
No tests. No forced postures. No falling behind.
Just a living, breathing, embodied experience of yoga’s full depth.
At a time when uncertainty is everywhere and leadership is needed, this training provides the tools, the knowledge, and the community to meet this moment with clarity and impact.
What Makes This Training Different?
Susanna created Embody Yoga’s Roots YTT 300 with two essential priorities:
To help you embody yoga’s roots—deepening your practice beyond asana, into philosophy, lineage, and personal transformation.
To equip you as a leader in your community—offering the skills to teach, serve, and hold space in ways that honor yoga’s wisdom and directly apply to the world we live in today.
This is not just another certification. It is an opportunity to step into yoga as a practice of justice, healing, and change.
I’ll be offering a workshop as a guest faculty member in this YTT, and I’d love for you to join me, Susanna, and a powerful group of experts for this groundbreaking training.
